"I'm in my 6th week & have learnt an enormous amount, amongst a bunch of really lovely people. Cam's great. I find his vision for reforestation of the suburbs with highly productive foodforests energising & inspirational. He's sharp, very articulate & passionate about what he's teaching. The course has absolutely exceeded my expectations.
Good mix with hands on, planting vegie patch, hot compost, cold compost, compost teas, worms, building a compost heap which we turn each week, nutrient cycles, soil food web, rockdust, food forests, swales, water harvesting techniques, grey water mulch pits, orchard management, pruning, grafting, green mulch, cuttings, seed saving... complemented with detailed tuition which is accessible. (Detailed notes & book refs for further reading also provided.) His teaching is peppered with examples from his experiences working alongside Bill Mollison & Geoff Lawton & others who he's sought out to learn as much as he can from their expertise.
I leave on Saturdays feeling so happy & elated, and my partner is planning to do the Sept course.
Oh! Cam's wife Jess & little Yarrow cook a warm hearty lunch (with fresh produce from garden) & we share meals together, which is lovely. Lunch is absolutely delicious & nutritious."
